Yes / No / Maybe: An Erotic Exploration List
What are you curious about? What’s a definite no? And what sounds sexy in fantasy – but maybe not in real life?
The Yes / No / Maybe List is a tool designed to help you explore your desires, boundaries, fantasies, and curiosities without pressure or expectation. You can use it on your own or with a partner to get clearer about what interests you and open up conversations that can sometimes feel difficult to start.
And remember: fantasy is not consent, curiosity is not commitment, and a “maybe” doesn’t have to become a “yes.” The goal isn’t to check things off the list – it’s to learn more about yourself and each other.
I explore how to use this tool with sex therapist Jessa Zimmerman on the Pleasure Project: Sex & Relationships podcast, including how a Yes / No / Maybe List can help couples navigate desire differences, communicate boundaries, and expand their erotic world without creating pressure.
Want to go deeper? Listen to Dr. Jenn and sex therapist Jessa Zimmerman talk about how to use the Yes / No / Maybe List to explore desire, fantasy, boundaries, and erotic curiosity with less pressure.
